2026 Indoor Season
Winter training consists of on track practices 2-3 days per week, strength training 2 days per week (individually), and training for field events, as well as coach support at indoor meets.
Coaches will train athletes in all indoor track and field events at the UVM indoor track. Additional training opportunities with Vermont Elite and guest coaches will take place throughout the season.
To ensure each member receives the level of support and individual coaching they need to excel in their events Vermont Elite will cap membership numbers for the 2026 indoor season.
Who: Athletes in middle and high school who are physically and mentally prepared to train as elite athletes on and off the track.
Where: On track training will take place at the UVM indoor track. Athletes will be required to purchase a Community Facility Membership as most trainings will take place during “Open Rec” times. Athletes will be encouraged to strength train on their own at home or their local gym.
When: November 2025- February 2026. Full schedule, updates, and changes will be posted in the SportsYou app. (Primarily Mon & Weds evenings)
